2025 Troy Strawberry Festival General Chairwoman, Jessica Silvers
As a lifelong resident of Troy, the Strawberry Festival is part of Jessica Silvers’ DNA. While shehas attended the festival since childhood, Jessica first began volunteering in 2015 with the Pie-Eating Contest. In 2017 she began chairing for the Arts and Crafts vendors, a role she held continuously, among other responsibilities, through 2024.
Since 2007, Jessica has worked for the Troy-Miami County Public Library performing various roles including Circulation Assistant, Reference Librarian, Technical Services Librarian, and currently Collections and Technical Services Manager. Working for a non-profit organization, Jessica holds a special appreciation for the festival’s founding commitment of fundraising and raising awareness for our Troy Area non-profits.
Jessica was incredibly honored to have been named the recipient of the 2022 Young Woman of the Year award presented by the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys gardening, cuddling with her two cats, and spoiling her four nephews. Jessica is excited to continue our great tradition and welcome the 49th annual Troy Strawberry Festival June 7th-8th, 2025
